A four-step process. No surprises.
We have shaped enrolment around what we wish other centres had given us when we were searching as parents ourselves: a clear sequence, honest information, and the time to make the decision well.
- 01
Book a tour
Tours run weekday mornings at 10:00 AM and afternoons at 2:00 PM, with select Saturdays available by appointment. They take about 45 minutes. Both parents are welcome, and children are welcome on the second visit if you would like to bring them.
- 02
Submit a family application
After your tour, we send you a short family application. It asks about your child, your family rhythms, and what you are looking for. There is no fee to apply.
- 03
Meet the educators
We invite shortlisted families to meet the educator who would lead your child's classroom. This is a conversation, not an interview. We want to know that the fit is right on both sides.
- 04
Offer and onboarding
Offers are made by mid-spring for the September intake. Onboarding includes a parent orientation, a phased separation schedule, and a home visit from your child's educator before the first day if your family would find that helpful.
Frequently asked questions.
- When should we apply?
- Most families apply twelve to eighteen months before their preferred start date. Toddler Community has the longest waitlist; Casa and Afterschool are usually shorter. We hold a small January intake when space allows.
- Are you part of the CWELCC system?
- Yes. We are an opted-in CWELCC participant for our Toddler Community and Casa programmes for children ages 0 through 5. Eligible families pay reduced fees in line with the federal-provincial framework.
- What is the fee structure?
- Fees vary by programme and by CWELCC eligibility. We share the full fee schedule during the tour. We do not publish fees on the website because the right way to discuss cost is in the context of seeing the space.
- Do you accommodate dietary needs and allergies?
- Yes. Our kitchen is nut-free and we manage all major allergens with documented protocols. Vegetarian and halal options are available daily. We work with families to accommodate medical and faith-based dietary needs.
- What is your approach to discipline?
- We do not use timeouts, sticker charts, or reward systems. We rely on natural consequences, calm redirection, and the structure of the prepared environment. Most behaviour challenges resolve when the environment is right and the child has the language to express what they need.
- How do you communicate with parents?
- Educators write a brief end-of-day note each day and a longer reflection at the end of each week. We hold formal parent conferences twice a year and we are available by email or phone whenever you need us.
