Privacy policy
Oakbridge Early Learning Centre handles personal information in accordance with Canadian federal privacy law (PIPEDA), Ontario's Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA), and the regulatory requirements of the College of Early Childhood Educators.
What we collect
We collect personal information from prospective and enrolled families to operate our centre safely and lawfully. This includes contact information, child health and developmental information required by the Ministry of Education, emergency contacts, authorised pickup contacts, and photographs taken with explicit parental consent.
Why we collect it
Information is collected for licensed childcare operations, regulatory reporting, emergency response, parent communication, and educational record-keeping. We do not collect more information than is needed for these purposes.
How we store and protect it
Family records are stored on secured systems accessible only to authorised staff. Paper records are kept in locked cabinets in our administrative office. Digital records are encrypted at rest and in transit. We retain records for the periods required by Ontario regulation, and we destroy them securely when those retention periods end.
Photography and consent
We do not photograph children for marketing purposes without separate written consent obtained at enrolment. Parents may withdraw photography consent at any time by writing to the director.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you and your child, to request corrections, and to withdraw any consent you have previously given. Contact the director at hello@oakbridgelearning.ca to make such a request.
Website analytics
